Former London United VP130 (W478BCW) is seen in Cambridge Bus Station in August 2014 with Whippet Coaches. Shortly after the Anglian company was acquired by Tower Transit in the capital, doubtless a futures source of retired London buses like this Plaxton President bodied Volvo B7TL.

Seen heading to the Bus Station that day is slightly older VA67 (V183OOE), a Volvo B7TL with Alexander ALX400 bodywork with lettering celebrating the company's 90th anniversary.

Thamesdown were pleased to acquire some of London United's low floor East Lancs Omnidekka bodied Scania N230UD buses to replace Olympians in their fleet. They displayed 379 (YN55NHO), former SLE19, at the last Duxford SHOWBUS in 2014. Picture ref A5220

Another recipient of the same chassis/body combination was West Coast Motors who converted former SO8 (YN07LHY) to semi open top for City Sightseeing tours of Glasgow, where the bus is seen in August 2014.
