 Former Maidstone & District lowbridge Weymann bodied Leyland Atlantean L44 (44DKT) served with Orpington & Ditrict, the fledging fleet that metamorphised into Go-Ahead's Metrobus subsidiary. Their pioneering 853 route needed a lowbridge bus, but they also utilised minibuses. The bus is seen at twilight. |
 From the early days of Metrobus, when the company was under common ownership with Tillingbourne, this Duple Dominant bodied AEC Reliance is a bus that would have looked at home in both fleets. Luckily JTM109V has been preserved and was on show at the 2011 London Bus Preservation Group's rally in deepest Surrey. |

Metrobus M628RNP is a Ford Transit minibus, not intended for passenger service. It is seen at the Greenwich terminus of the 161 and is presumably used for crew transfer. A fleet of around 15 Transits was maintained for crew rotations away from depots.
