Megabus Volvo B12M Plaxton Panther 53029

Seen in the centre of Bristol on a marathon route from Plymouth to Newcastle in March 2011 is yet another former Yorkshire Traction coach, 69 (YS02YXT).

The same coach, 53029, is seen in June the following year, exiting Victoria Coach Station on a less arduous London-Cheltenham working.

Megabus expanded into East Anglia with a franchised operation. In this instance Norwich based Freestones has partially painted Plaxton Panther bodied Volvo B12B KX07HDJ in Megabus livery. It is seen on layover in May 2012 in the former BOAC building opposite Victoria Coach Station. The coach has since been repainted in full Megabus livery.

This very anonymous Plaxton Panther was seen heading up the M40 on route Megabus M12 direct to Leeds in April 2011. Megabus do hire in to meet demand from to time, which may be the story behind this white Plaxton Panther bodied Volvo B12B coach.
