Secondhand acquisitions became more common place in Oxford after City of Oxford became part of the Go-Ahead Group and inter company transfers made sense. That was exactly the case with Volvo B10BLE Wright buses rendered surplus with Brighton & Hove and fitting in neatly with Oxford's fleet. Volvo 793 (R223HCD), B&H 223, is one such bus seen in St Aldates in May 2008 not long after transferring.

For some reason ex Brighton & Hove 229 (R229HCD) became 792 rather than 799. The Volvo is seen in St Aldates followed by a Park & Ride Trident in June 2010.

Extra support for the Park & Ride fleet was provided in the shape of a number of this Volvo B10BLE/Wright buses transferred from Brighton. Former B&H 220 (R220HCD) became 790 and is seen here outside the Railway Station precinct in June 2010.
