Mortons Leyland Leopard Plaxton Supreme IV PRO441W
Arriving with the ex Weavaway Volvo B9TL decker at SHOWBUS international 2014 was this whimsical entry, in keeping with the tradition started with the articulated coach. This Plaxton Supreme IV bodied Leyland Leopard, PRO441W, had been new to Hearns of Harrow Weald, but never used on National Express work. The interesting incarnation even sports MORTONS fleetname in red where the NBC subsidiary's fleetname used to appear on National Express coaches back in the day.

Mortons Optare Vecta M957VWY
In a similar vein, Optare Vecta bodied MAN 11.190 M957VWY, seen arriving in the picturesque grounds of Woburn Abbey for SHOWBUS international 2015, is in the colours of Newbury Buses. The fleetname however is "Mortons Buses" in Newbury Buses style. Initially used as a demonstrator by Optare the bus was sold to Reading Buses as their 814, being sold on with other Vectas to Islwyn Borough Transport and passed with that opeartion into Stagecoach Wales ownership as 39822. It arrived at Mortons in Stagecoach colours. The destination blind neatly harks back to the days when Reading Buses, Alder Valley and United Counties jointly operated service 325 between nearby Milton Keynes and Reading via Aylesbury and High Wycombe.
