Entering Brighton in May 2007 as part of the annual HCVC run is Bristol VRTSL6G 621 (OSF307G). The bus was originally Eastern Scottish AA307 and was swapped for a Bristol Lodekka FLF as part of a wholesale disposal of the Scottish Bus Group VR fleet to NBC in the early seventies. After service with SVOC it passed to renowned VR operator Johnsons of Hodthorpe in 1986 and is seen here preserved by Derek Priddle of Farnham, who acquired the bus in 2004. |
VR 621 was seen again at the Alton Bus Rally in July 2015.

Also at Alton in 2015 was 681 (FDL681V), what had been a standard NBC ECW bodied Bristol VRTSL3 in apple green. As can be seen it ended its days partially decapitated and used on the "Island Breezers" open top services. Alongside is London Transport RM1033 (33CLT).
