Reading Buses Alexander Dennis Enviro400 1212 VAMOOZ
This Alexander Dennis Enviro400 has had more liveries than most in its first six years. New to Lloyds Coaches of Machynlleth with registration LC61WYN it was replaced by a new Enviro400MMC model in 2016, which kept the registration so it became DU61FVY and joined the fleet of Go-Goodwins in Manchester, losing Lloyds silver for Goodwin's rich blue. It had been expected at SHOWBUS in 2016 to operate the internal shuttle, but was replaced by a high capacity Scania/Irizar coach. Goodwins did the same as Lloyds and replaced it with a luxurious Enviro400MMC and Reading Buses acquired the bus, numbering it 2012 and painting it red for work in Newbury. However in 2017 Reading joined the VAMOOZ programme instigated by Transdev in the North. The bus is seen arriving at SHOWBUS internaional that year and was displayed with the two VAMOOZ buses which had journeyed from Yorkshire and the Manchester area.

Red Rose Alexander Dennis Enviro200 50637
Another bus arriving at SHOWBUS international 2017 with Welsh connections was Red Rose Alexander Dennis Enviro200 50637 (YX64VRK), now registered E1RRT, which was new to GHA and acquired in the aftermath of that firm's collapse. The bus has been signwritten for the four times daily 275 service from High Wycombe to Oxford and has silver relief similar to the two new Enviro200 buses unveiled at SHOWBUS the previous year celebrating the firm's 25th anniversary.

Redline Dennis Dart Plaxton T375JJC
Seen in the new Slough Bus Station in May 2012 is Redline Plaxton Pointer 2 bodied Dennis Dart SLF T375JJC which was new to Thomas of Caernafon in April 1999. The bus subsequently passed to Red Rose.

BBC Wales Dennis Dart Plaxton
BBC Wales had this Plaxton Pointer 2 bodied Dennis Dart SLF kitted out as a mobile studio from new. They had another East Lancs bodied SLF, which it probably replaced, no doubt because of the high mileage (not!) The Plaxton Dart is seen at Wembley in May 2008 for the FA Cup final.

Creigiau Travel Plaxton Pronto YX08MHZ
At the time when Plaxton was an independent company and Alexander and Dennis had just merged, there was concern they might be starved of Dart chassis on which to build. They turned to Enterprise Bus in Hungary for a supply of midibus chassis and bodied them at Scarborough, selling the complete package as the Plaxton Pronto. The model had a mixed reception with some operators building small fleets of them through prudent secondhand acquisitions. Originally a Plaxton demonstrator, YX08MHZ was bought by McCalls Coaches of Lockerbie before arriving in Wales with Creigiau Travel. The smartly turned out bus is seen at the Barry Island Bus Rally in June 2013.
