 On an unfortunately gloomy day in 1983 156 gathered with three other vehicles for a SHOWBUS photo shoot at Woburn Abbey. Alos taking part were Barry Weatherhead's General AEC K502 (XC8117) which is kept nearby, sponsor Hefac's ex Tyne & Wear Alexander bodied Leyland Panther converted to a mobile display, former 511 (UVK511G) and a Club Cantabrica Jonckheere bodied Volvo. This was the pose that became the SHOWBUS poster, the printers miraculously converting the sky to a cloudless bright blue.
