Carousel Buses Leyland Olympian L554
Arrives at Heathrow Central Bus Station in July 2003 L554 (H554GKX) is on the newly launched A40 service along the A40 trunk road from High Wycombe to Uxbridge and thence to Heathrow. The service replaced, in part, the withdrawn facility provided via Slough to the airport on the joint Arriva/Beeline 74 route. The A40 route was initially worked by the Carousel Olympian fleet supplemented by the odd Lynx and - it is thought - Metrobus before giving way to new route-branded Mercedes Citaros.

Redline Leyland Olympian H557GKX
On the same morning Redline's H557GKX from the same batch of seventeen Armchair Leylands arrived in Marlow. The bus was standing in for the usual Red Rose ex Dublin Olympian then used on school contract 941.
