Hants & Dorset 1901 (VRU124J) was a Roe bodied Daimler Fleetline and one of last buses ordered by
Provincial
, but
Provincial
fell into the hands of the National Bus Company and the batch of six deckers became odd-balls in Hants & Dorset's Bristol dominated fleet.
Provincial
received RELLs instead. The bus is seen restored to original condition at Netley Park in 2008.

Not long after the bus was new NBC influence replaced the cream relief with white as seen on sister vehicle 1904 (VRU127J) seen in Poole Bus Station. At this stage Hants & Dorset had been merged with
Wilts & Dorset
and the new company adopted NBC poppy red as the new combined fleet livery, so this green-white combination was not around for long.

SHOWBUS international 2001 saw bus seated Leyland National 3711 (UFX852S) with an ex
Trent
vehicle, both from the
Konect
, the newly arrived Optare Delta was one of several replacing
Konect
's National fleet.

At SHOWBUS international 2009 now preserved Leyland National 3711 (UFX852S) arrived with a new
Konect
Optare Tempo.

The bus also appeared at the 2010 event which started with a wet morning for arrivals.
