Hants & Dorset Bristol MW6G ECW
A fuller bus conversion has been undertaken on this MW coach. Full NBC bus livery and a destination box above the windscreen, but the coach seating has been retained as well as the glass cove panels. With Alexander Dennis putting more glazing into bus roofs, this MW was ahead of its time by about forty years!

Hants & Dorset Bristol MW6G ECW 897
Hants & Dorset bought a batch of six ECW bodied touring coaches in 1964 registered AEL2-7B. The last two were its first RELH6G and though it bought more such coaches subsequently they had Duple (Northern) bodies, so 898 and 899 (AEL6-7B) were the only ones with ECW bodies. The other four were MW6G models with similar bodyowrk, of which this is one, seen in later years and painted in NBC dual purpose livery. It is thought to be 897 (AEL5B).
