 Seen in Burton-upon-Trent in September 2016 was Optare Spectra 41 (R2NEG) during an event to celebrate ninety years of Stevensons Bus Service. The bus was new as 4002 with Travel Dundee, later joining the Spectras in the West Midlands. Midland Classic was the successor to Stevensons in the Burton area, ousting Arriva Midlands who had bought the operation. As Stevensons bought a pair of new Spectras, R2NEG was an obvious candidate for purchase when it became available.
