In March 2017 Go-Ahead acquired Thamedown Transport and by September when Alexander Dennis Enviro200 2768 (YX17NHY) a new livery and fleetname was projected on the new bus: Swindon's Bus Company. The bus was numbered in the Go-South Coast 2xxx series.

Same spot a year later and Enviro200MMC 2775 (HF67ATV) is arriving at the Donington Arena for SHOWBUS 2018. Note the bus has an H-prefixed registration, linked to Go-South Coast's Head Office rather than a W-prefix for the West of England, Thamesdown's norm. However 2768 is Y-prefixed linked to the bus being built at Scarborough. The practice of a bus being registered wnere it was built is now common place, but a meaningless exercise!

Doubledeckers have never featured prominently in the Swindon fleet since the days of the CVG6. A handful cover busier journeys, especially around school times. This East Lancs bodied Scania N94UD, 372 (YN55NHE), was one of nine acquired from RATPdev/London United where it was SLE11 when new.
