A rarity that turned up at SHOWBUS international in 2002 was this integral singledeck MCW Metroliner coach, now with Adam-Martyn Coaches in the Potteries. Metroliner 8845 (FKK845Y) was one of a small batch of CR126/8s that worked in National Express livery for East Kent. It has been much modified over the years. |

Three years later another MCW Metroliner appeared at SHOWBUS. East Kent acquired two more of the later Hiliner HR131/12 Metroliners in 1988. This was 8855 (E855UKR) in the ownership of PPH Coaches of St Albans. |

Delivered to East Kent as 8920 (GU52WSY), this Volvo B12M with Plaxton Paragon coachwork was used on express routes from the Kent coast. The vehicle is seen in summer 2007 in Victoria. It had been numbered into the Stagecoach national scheme as 53002 and ownership has passed to Stagecoach in Cambridge. |
Gosport based AC Travel acquired this Caetano Levante bodied Scania K340EB off Heritage Travel, but it was new to Stagecoach East Kent. It was amongst the many such vehicles liberated from National Express work. Former 59209 (FJ56OBW) is seen near Harrods in June 2016

New to London Buses as S67 (K867LMK), this Northern Counties bodied Scania N113DRB passed to Stagecoach East London on privatisation. In 2000 it was transferred to Stagecoach East Kent where it was converted to single door, along with several others of the batch, and received Stagecoach stripes on white, losing London red and numbered 7767. It passed to Nu-Venture in 2009 gaining the Maidstone inspired blue and cream livery nut was painted in Chatham & District colours in March 2011 ready to take part in the Maidstone & District Centenary Rally the following month. |
