Seen in Santa Monica in October 2011 was Star Line City Sightseeing Bristol VRTSL3, 311, former 7683 (SKL683X) with East Kent. |
Visiting the West of England Collection at Winkleigh in August 2013, several ECW bodied Bristol VR buses were in evidence. Ownership was possibly Classic Buses of Chepstow and their use possibly limited to transport for the annual Glastonbury Festival. Sporting this tatty blue livery was former 7653 (XJJ653V). Definitely in the care of Chepstow Classic Buses was former 7671 (BJG671V), seen at the Bristol Bus Rally at Brislington in August 2016. The bus is sandwiched between two older Bristols, Western National ECW bodied K6B 959 (KUO972) and Southern National Duple bodied LL6B 1324 (LTA958).

National Welsh bought more short Nationals than most, following its ancestry of Leyland Tiger Cubs and Bristol RESL short buses. This short National, NS7432 (SJG337N), sen in Cardiff Bus station with Barrivale MAP fleetnames was actually transferred from East Kent.
