Southdown Scania N230UD ADL Enviro400 Centenary 15586
In 2015 Stagecoach South decided to kill two birds with one stone. Alexander Dennis Enviro400 15586 with Queen Mary registration 404DCD was repainted in traditional Southdown livery, but with the wartime grey relief. Seen here in July at the Alton Rally the offside is commemorating 70 years since VE Day.

Southdown Scania N230UD ADL Enviro400 Centenary 15586
Later in the year it is seen arriving in the delightful grounds of Woburn Abbey for SHOWBUS international 2015. As can be seen the nearside commemorates the centenary of Southdown Motor Services.

Southdown Volvo Citybus Northern Counties 308
Newly acquired for preservation at the 2015 Alton Rally was this example of one of the first purchases by the newly privatised Southdown in 1989. The bus has yet to have fleetnames applied to its revived traditional livery. Though the Northern Counties body on 308 (F308MYJ) was no surprise to Southdown enthusiasts the choice of the underfloor engined Volvo Citybus chassis was novel.

Pool Valley
This nostalgic colourful scene at Pool Valley captures all three common Brighton liveries of the time: Southdown's apple green and cream on the Queen Mary in the centre, Brighton, Hove & District's Tilling Red and cream with Brighton Corporation's French blue and white.
