Nottingham Leyland Olympian Northern Coonties
Glimpsed rounding the 'blue leanie' roundabout in Aylesbury is one of a pair of ex Nottingham Northern Counties bodied Leyland Olympians which left that fleet for Southend after relatively short service. From there they went to Buffalo Travel and one was used as Rally Control at Showbus, Woburn Abbey during that time and the other on Safari Park "Junglebus" trips. They passed to The Shires with Buffalo's bus services and were initially despatched to Wycombe for the Chesham services, but were too tall to negotiate Amersham Railway Bridge. They whiled away their time on school runs at Aylesbury, which is what this one was doing.

Eagre Daimler Fleetline Nothern Counties
Former Southend 362 (WJN362J) is a Daimler Fleetline with rather uninspiring Northern Counties bodywork. The bus passed to Eagre of Gainsborough in whose depot yard it is pictured.
