FLF 626 (543BBL) was amongst the first Lodekkas in NBC livery at Maidenhead and was thus selected for the Knowl Hill short workings on the occasion of the 1974 Steam Rally, partly as it was one of the few Lodekkas with Knowl Hill on the destination blinds. The conductor even washed the bus down beforehand as can be seen from the damp panels as the bus poses in Maidenhead Bus Station. |
