A second Lodekka from the 1964 delivery also came to grief three years later in 1976, D9 (BRX142B), AV 641> The bus encountered the canopy of a petrol station in Bracknell. It is seen squirreled away out of sight in Reading depot before being transferred to Southern Vectis, where it became their open topper OT6. It subsequently was exported to Arizona, USA.

Lodekka 644 (CMO835B) was repainted in Ribble red and subsequently acquired NBC fleetnames in cream. It is seen here passing Great Kimble church in the mid seventies on service to Aylesbury.

Sister to topless 640 above, 641 (BRX141B) was the second of the pair of vehicles. If one looks closely though the full coach seating of the FLF can be seen, it being the last of the 1964 batch for London services: D4-D8.
