If anything did become the standard Merseyside decker after the Alexander bodied Atlanteans, it was the Northern Counties bodied Olympian, of which 0215 (E215WBG) is an early example, seen here heading down from Lime Street Station.

The Palatine I version of the Northern Counties body is seen on this later example, 0167 (F458BKF).

A third Olympian/NCME, but this time fitted with somewhat inadequate electronic destination equipment. However 0167, above, is not making the best use of its blinds!

Final decker deliveries to MTL were Palatine II Olympians, heralding a new standard. The vehicles formed the 'Millennium Fleet' - and this branding can be seen on this example at the Pier Head.
