Not all that it appears. Firstly this bus is seen in Southend-on-Sea, Essex at the 2002 Southend Rally. Secondly it dates back to the Drawlane era, so its East Lancs body sits too on top of a Dennis Dominator chassis. The bus had been transferred south within the Arriva organisation to Southend from North West.

By summer 2014 those ALX300 bodied DAF SB220s had been replaced by Alexander Dennis Enviro300 buses like 2746 (CX58EVV) registered in Wales, but new to Manchester. It is seen trying to leave Manchester Piccadilly followed by a Magic Bus Trident/ALX400, 17646 (W646RND) and a host of other deckers.
