1013MW is a restored Silver Star Atlantean. The vehicles were of particular interest
being of lowbridge design and one was coach seated in Ribble 'Gay Hostess' style for weekend express
services tuned to the needs of the armed forces stationed around Salisbury. When Wilts & Dorset
acquired Silver Star, three of the four Atlanteans were transferred to Bristol Omnibus and painted in Tilling
green and cream.

Another W&D connection: originally 454 in the Bristol Omnibus fleet, this Bristol LH is preserved as
Wilts & Dorset 3849. On transfer to W&D it had its front end modified so that it could be driven on to
the Sandbanks ferry without grounding. The bus is seen at the 2001 Cobham Rally.

Once upon a time this was Bristol G1254 in the Gloucester City fleet.

G1254 (CFH604) was a Bristol L4G with Brislington bodywork (BBW). It was heavily
rebuilt several times in its life, believed new as B32D, then rebodied in 1949 and 1956 as B35R. It was also
re-engined as an L5G.

In its current life - seen here with Carters Steam Fair at West Wycombe in 2007 -
it has had further internal modifications as a mobile home, complete with picket fence around its
temporary garden!
