Heading down Park Street towards the Cathedral is Scania Omnicity 30115 (YT61FEU). It is in a special livery for the UWE (University of West England) contracted services. The Scania went on to Preston Bus. Behind is the tower of the longer established University of Bristol.

 Wessex Connect landed high profile work by taking some of the plum Park & Ride contracts in the city, including route 900 to Portway. A fleet of Volvo B7RLE with Plaxton Centro bodies was acquired and painted in a distinctive multi-green livery. Volvo 7000 (BX07BRV) is seen in the city centre in March 2011. It went on to become Diamond Midlands 30000. |
