Nearing four years old in October 2016 was Wright Eclipse Gemini 40602 (BX62FUO) seen on the X14 UWE express. It was one of a batch of four. It ended up with Preston Bus, others of the batch went to Bournemouth.

Seen the same day was newer 40625 (BJ14KTC) - one of a pair - branded for WessexStar route 51. It moved on to Diamond Midlands, but was transferred to Hallmark's Heathrow operation to work a contract for Royal Holloway College.

Volvo 7504 (FJ57CYZ) retired from the Long Ashton contract and is seen here arriving at SHOWBUS 2012 with its new owner, Sullivan Buses, where it had become WVL2.
 
Preston Bus Volvo B9TL Wright 40510
Seen in April 2022 was former Park & Ride Volvo B7TL 7510 (FJ57CZC) seen serving with Preston Bus in the iconic Bus Station as 40510. The bus was selected to carry a special livery to mark the centenary of Preston Corporation Transport later that year, carrying a version of the final city cream and blue scheme.
