Seen at work on the city in August 2015 was Plaxton Centro bodied Volvo B7RLE 30004 (BX07AXO), a former Park & Ride bus, which had lost its green livery along with the contract. When the Brisol operations closed it as transferred to Diamond Midlands.

Wessex Volvo B7RLE Wright 30525
On the one-2-one route in the city centre in July the following summer was Wright bodied Volvo B7RLE 30525 (BX62FEU). It kept a red livery on transfer to Diamond Midlands branded for the 42/43 services operating from West Bromwich, part of a co-ordianted operation with National Express West Midlands which did not last the test of time.

At the foot of Whiteladies Road in July 2016 Wessex Connect all Scania K230UB 30114 (YT61FEV) passes First Bristol Transbus ALX400 bodied Volvo B7TL 31742 (WR03ZBD). The Scania passed to Rotala's Preston Bus.
