Back to Sunderland in July 2024 for this Stagecoach North East gas powered Scania K270UB with Alexander Dennis Eviro300NG bodywork, 28007 (YN63BXJ). When these buses first entered service at the beginning of 2014 they were in a special two tone blue livery with no deference to Stagecoach corporate livery, other than the beach ball motif. Ten years on and most of the fleet was in the standard fleet livery with the exception of 2707 whose scheme had been modified for the local gay pride celebrations. Whilst it is seen in its Sunderland base, others of the batch had escaped south to join Reading Buses who also had some similar buses as well as some gas powered Enviro400 doubledeckers. It helped them to launch a new service between Reading and Henley following the withdrawal of Arriva from the area.
