After several visits to Adelaide on Sunday last week the unique solar powered Designline Olympus which works Adelaide's city connector was at last seen in the Torrens Transit Mile End depot. One suspects the vehicle may not be that reliable and interestingly it appears to be connected to a mains supply, despite the warm sunny day, maybe its solar power was not up to the job. It is seen with another unique vehicle in the Adelaide Metro fleet, the Bustech CDi 1790 (SB73HB) which arrived for trial use on the Airport Express J1X in 2014 and is now resident in the city. Two other unique vehicles were also in the depot, the Custom CB80 bodied hybrid Alexander Dennis Enviro350H - which was not in a happy state - and the Bustech VST bodied Volvo B5RLEH hybrid.
